COVID-19 Safety Check

OIC receives two-year grant.

The Alliance for Health Equity (AHE) will award a two-year grant in the amount of $225,000 to the Chester County OIC (Opportunities Industrialization Center) for the Homelessness and Unemployment in Coatesville Collective.

The collective aims to help people live healthy and well by increasing employment, living wages, and housing stability for 18- to 24-year-old adults of color living in Coatesville.

The AHE began a three-phase process to implement a Collective Impact model for the Homelessness and Unemployment in Coatesville Collective. Collective Impact is a disciplined, cross-sector approach to solving complex social and environmental issues on a large scale.

CCOIC: ESL and GED Classes

CCOIC offers a variety of training programs and workshops. Learn more about Virtual English as a Second Language and GED classes that are accepting registration NOW!

VIRTUAL ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES

Virtual free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes will be held every Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 12PM and every Tuesday and Thursday from 6PM to 9PM.

IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL GED CLASSES

CCOIC offers classes to help you pass your GED test. In person classes are held Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 4PM and Friday from 9AM to 4PM. Virtual classes are held every Monday and Wednesday from 6PM to 9PM.
