The safety of our staff and clientele is our highest priority. As our County is now in the green phase, we have been thinking through necessary operational changes to safely conduct program operations. We are resuming operations in July with the CDC guidelines in mind and the goal of exercising an abundance of caution and precaution. Staff will be following these protocols:

I can’t breathe.
As a mother myself, these words bring instant panic, fear and reaction. If I saw my son, my brother, my nephew, my cousin voicing these words on news feed over and over again, those instant reactions would ultimately move into raging anger.
That’s what we see in our streets repeated all over this country. Chester County OIC wishes to bring honor to the name of George Floyd and so many like him, who have lost their lives in the struggle of being Black or of color in America.

The words of our former C.N.A. graduate haunt me every
day. Christiana is now an LPN at Chester
County Hospital. Like all front line
workers, she endures every day, caring for those in dire need while risking her
own safety and that of her young family.
“The virus is here and it’s real. Don’t wait for it to change
your life, change your behavior.”
By now you have heard the reports of one (1) COVID-19 positive case in the City of Coatesville. The bells are now ringing close to home. It is time to step up our commitment to inform this community of what is inevitable, more positive cases.
At Chester County OIC we are doing are best to ensure the
safety and wellness of our community and staff by doing our part in social
distancing and other measures. We are
closely monitoring this pandemic and keeping our office closed to the public
until such time as COVID 19 has subsided.
