Workforce Programs and Partnerships 2025

Non- CDL TRAININGs

•Non-CDL Drivers can operate vehicles that are under a certain weight or load capacity, such as small trucks, delivery vans, and taxis.

•OIC has two Non-CDL partnerships to offer:

•(1) CCOIC in partnership with Chesco Connect to train drivers. This is a 3-week course.

•(2) Roberson Enterprize LLC for training opportunities

WORK ENCLAVE PROGRAM

•We partner with the City’s Public Works department to identify high areas of litter

•We purchase Supportive Services as tools for individuals to clean up

•Participants are guaranteed 5 weeks of paid professional development skills.

•Customer Service Certification

•Resume Workshops

•Interview Coaching

•Four Cohorts are planned per year, with space for up 12 participants each.

DMV Services

Wellness-Check Day Permit Physical

•*Van Departs OIC at 9:30 am*

•CCOIC provides participants with transportation.

•Fees Provided by CCOIC at Urgent Care.

•Exam is required to obtain a permit at our monthly.

•DMV Day Trip offered the following Thursday.

DMV Days

•*Van Departs OIC at 9:30 am*

•Transportation to the Malvern DMV

•DMV Services

•Fees Provided by CCOIC -State Identification -State ID renewal / replacement -Real ID -Drivers license renewal / replacement -Permit testing

Drivers Education

Through Partnership with United Way of Chester County and Open-Hearth Students can save up to 2,000 and receive 2,00 match

In partnership with Chester County Intermediate Unit

•All payments made by CCOIC

•Assist with Adults and Youth

•1-week drivers’ education or 6-week drivers’ education

•Must have a Valid Permit and Identification *OIC can help with these if needed.

Digital Literacy

•Partnered with Full Circle Computing, Digital Literacy provides a Microsoft Work Certification.

•This is a hands-on training that teaches participants how to use technology effectively and safely and gain Microsoft Office Suite administration skills at an intermediate level.

•20 sessions- Monday -Tuesday -Thursday

9am-12pm

•Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher

•Online Resources- Outlook, Linkedin

•Certification Test

•Small Class size for ideal supports as new information is introduced.

•Full schedule with topics provided at registration.

Quick Books

•New program partnered with Full Circle Computing, this hands-on training teaches participants the skills for digital booking keeping and other administrative tasks.

Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-4:00 pm

•Basic accounting and the necessary tools to effectively use QuickBooks Online.

Forklift

•OIC hosts Saturday Forklift training, partnering with Sam’s Mechanical for use of equipment

•Transportation can be provided to those that need it.

•Attendees average from 7 to 15 people a training.

Customer Service (NRF ) Training

•Partnered with Full Circle Computing, this training provides students with skills on how to interact with customers to improve customer experience, bring well representation to a respective brand and manage customer conflict. Students certified by National Retail Federation.

•This training is offered inside of Work Enclave/ Sett.

Keystone Green Jobs Training Program

• This program is offered in partnership with affiliate- OIC Philadelphia.

•An 8- week hands-on training

• Monday-Thursday @ CCOIC, 9:00 am -3:00 pm.

•Friday on site @PhillyOIC, 9:00 am-3:00 pm.

•Transport provided with CCOIC @7:40 am on Friday.

• Provides the knowledge and skills needed to design, install and maintain solar energy systems.

•This training is ideal for those who have an interest in trades school, want to become an electrician or wish to develop a career in the Smart Energy industry.

•Entrance test; basic reading and math above 6th grade level. Testing provided by CCOIC in-person.

• Must provide:

Highschool Diploma or GED

Valid State Identification
